Soulscapes by Jesse Michael Newman | 360° Inspiration | SkyBox Studio
This 360° animation is from Jesse Newman‘s latest project, Soulscapes, an ambitious attempt to distill and visualize his spiritual beliefs for his children. A project he started nearly 2 decades ago and hopes to finish by 2019, it describes the journey of a soul from birth to death and back, in a fully-immersive 360 degree experience, created entirely in After Effects with Element 3D and SkyBox Studio.
The logo for Soulscapes was designed by John Langdon, who created the ambigrams of Dan Brown’s Angels & Demons and The DaVinci Code. The music is by M83. Jesse Newman is an Academy Award winning VFX artist whose fine art is in the permanent collection of the MOMA.
