The Stretcher Effect from Mantra VR is a simple, yet powerful effect to be used in 360/VR post-production. Stretcher lets you easily create 360° Little Planet and Wormhole effects, transforming and interpolating your 360 footage, all keyframeable. Stretcher is also great to lightly to adjust the ‘height’ of your field of view with a “Virtual Crane”, to focus the viewers attention and add dramatic movement in Post to certain parts of your 360 video. Flattening the ground part of this 360° footage creates a Little Planet effect.
Stretching the ground and flattening the sky will do the opposite, creating a Wormhole effect.
