How to Add 3D text into 360 Footage | SkyBox Studio

Chris Bobotis (mettle) shows a how to add 3D After Effects text into 360 footage with SkyBox Studio in After Effects. This method works well when you want to animate 3D text with your footage, and make it look like it inhabits the same 3D space. This is but one of many ways to add text onto 360 footage with SkyBox Studio. To add simple 2D text (like a watermark) onto your footage, watch this tutorial.

QUICK TIP: Apply SkyBox Extractor to your 360 Footage comp in After Effects. Extractor will generate a 360 “authoring” environment  where you can add your 3D text, 3D graphics and 3D effects).

QUICK TIP: Work with 2 comps open – your Edit Comp and your Output Comp, to preview the final result.
