Teach One: 360 Video Dance Series | Lite Feet

“Lite Feet” is the second episode in a 360 dance series created by Paolo “Fiction” Bitanga, (8-Player Pictures) a New York based b-boy/filmmaker. Lite Feet is a New York dance style that originated in the early 2000s. This episode focuses on the Lite Feet footwork and how it connects to the dance’s famous shoe tricks. An experienced filmmaker, Paolo has taken advantage of YouTube Space NY workshops to learn 360 production. Mettle 360/VR plugins are part of his 360 production pipeline. Watch FlexN, the first episode in this 360 series.

By breaking down various dance styles in an immersive environment, ‘Teach One’ invites all into the vibrant world of street dance.”

Paolo Bitanga (Director, Producer) explains how he used Mettle plugins:

“I used Skybox Studio to create the templates for titles, credits and effects used throughout the ongoing “Teach One” series. As a first-time VR filmmaker but long-time After Effects user, I can say that Skybox’s plugins are well integrated into Adobe’s programs. I quickly picked up Skybox’s interface for effects and compositing, which is more than I can say for my grueling first experience with stitching 360 footage.

I always compare the volatility of VR to working with film: you really do not know what your end-product will look like until it has been developed. Skybox helps eliminate the arcane thanks to its viewer plugins, allowing editors to preview 3D effects in real time.”
