Tobias Chen, University of Toronto, (Research Assistant + Interactive Digital Media student), shares his expertise on Cinematic 360 Camera Systems, as well as his workflow for livestreaming spherical content.
He discusses the pros and cons of different camera setups, while showing many examples of his DIY 360 cameras. He takes a hands-on approach, taking apart and assembling 360 camera rigs. We learn that there is no right or wrong in 360 cameras, it’s always about what’s right for the shot.
