Sneak Peek: Mantra VR > Chrome Spheres Overview

Charles Yeager (yeagerfilm.com) helps us take our first dive into Mantra VR, showcasing each effect inside the software. For this overview, Charles is presenting the Chrome Spheres Effect.

Create Chrome-like spheres with your 360 footage, reflecting what is around them. The effect simulates one or more curved mirrors of arbitrary size and distribution. It has various distributions across the sphere, and can be applied directly to 360 footage. You can adjust positioning, size, reflection-level, distance and movement of your spheres. The effect can be linked to an audioreactive controller.

Reminder: Mettle Skybox Plug-ins have been acquired by Adobe and will be integrated inside After Effects and Premiere by the end of 2017. Those plugins are now available if you’re an Adobe Creative Cloud subscriber. Find out more here. Mantra VR extends and complements those tools.
