#1 Gary Bird
Gary creates a simple and classic version of the Superman logo. A car-enamel finish in yellow and red works well with a white background and elegant shadow, courtesy of Elementary. The winner by popular vote.
#2 Tudor “Ted” Jelescu
The concept for this piece links the logo with an essential Superman element- the crystal that contains all the information Kal-El needs. In the original Superman movie, the crystal thrown in the water transforms into a fortress of knowledge. Tudor used that as the building element for the logo.
#3 Patrick Larochelle
Pat uses his illustration skills to build a Superman logo out of steak! Entirely original, unexpected and fabulous, a humorous take on Superman.
#4 Barbecue Design
This sequence was created by Ruediger Chmielus owner and Creative Director at Barbecue Design in Frankfurt, Germany. The animated panels are a clever and effective use of ShapeShifter's 3D capabilities. Created entirely in After Effects.
#5 Alexandra Mikko
Alexandra incorporates Superman's exploding home planet and some pretty cool shape-morphing in her rendition. She used mettle's Shapeshifter AE, Trapcode Shine and Starglow as well as CC Vector Bur and a few more AE filters to create this.
#6 nonme2change
A darker, alternate vision of the Superman logo. The Displacement Map feature of ShapeShifter Ae is used to create this complex logo by combining simple organic forms.
